There's nothing wrong with being tall and I don't think you look especially overweight (based on the photos on your page)! I'm only 5' tall and trust me, I know how it feels to be the odd one out based on height! So does my boyfriend: he's 6'5"! We saw some pictures from visiting my family a few weeks ago (nobody there was over 5'8") and he just kept saying, "I don't want to see it; I look like the Jolly Green Giant!"
So you're not alone! Everybody's self-conscious about SOMETHING they shouldn't be!

From looking at your pic and seeing your stats, I would say you have a bad case of self-consciousness. Most of us 5'4 gals only wish we could be 5'7 LOL But it is very sad to see a beautiful "Amazon" woman not standing tall and proud. You can avoid those bad thoughts and feelings of going to the lake by changing your attitude about yourself. You are assuming these gals are thinking negative things about you, when in all honesty, they would probably see you as the very beautiful, proud woman you are!!! Go to the lake, shed your self consciousness and stand tall and proud. And have fun, life is too short to miss out, just because of what you think they may think, when it may never be thought of that way LOL Just saying :-)

My husband and I were recently asked to spend a weekend at a lake with a group of our friends. Fun, right? Not so much. At 5'9" and 172ish pounds, I am, by far, the largest of all the women in our group. I ended up choosing to not go for many reasons, but being in a bathing suit all weekend, surrounded by women who are 5'4" and 120 pounds at most was definitely part of it. I have weight loss goals, but I want to feel happy with how I am now. I feel like I look like gigantor in any pictures that have just us girls. I'd love any tips for going to the lake and enjoying it the next time there's a trip. :) TIA!
