I can so relate with that. I started Spark two months ago. The first month was so depressing because I gained a couple pounds and my weight kept fluctuating, it was driving me crazy. The friendly posts in response I got was incredible. It helped having real people tell me it WAS working. Don't give up. They also explained I was probably gaining muscles, which I was because I was firming up. So I hid the scales for a month and bought a tape measure and in two months I've lost. 4 inches! plus I have a lot more energy. I feel awful if I don't walk at least 3 miles a day. And I want to do so much more. Don't give up because you are making progress. No matter what those scales say, you are doing great.

I use the scale as a guideline but I don't let it affect my moods that much. I can go up and down as much as 5 pounds in a day depending on what time of day it is, the weather, the time of the month, how much I've had to drink. I have a tape measure and I once a month (if I can wait that long) I measure my chest, waist, hips, and thighs. I find I get a much more accurate idea of what's going on then just stepping on the scale. Not to mention if you're building muscle, that weighs more than fat. Today I was up 3 pounds but I walked on the treadmill for 60 minutes last night so I'm feeling up.

My weight has fluctuated up by 2 pounds but my mood is UP UP UP. It must be all this exercise and healthy food!
