Start small. Set goals and be specific. Focus on the relationships rather than the food. Don't hang out around the food table. Plan what you will eat at the event. And find something you enjoy dancing walking etc to burn off the stress.

I have not been on here and basically stopped everything. Well all my previous efforts were worthless as I have gained everthing back.... I am doing this on my own and very family getogether revolves around food and drinks. AHHHH!!!! I am to the point of not wanting to go because I have no will power but if I stay home I just sit. Any suggestions? I have my daughters wedding to prepare for in one year.
