I listen to a lot of Amaranthe when I work out. They have a song called "Invincible" that has some really motivational lyrics, and is usually the first song I listen to when starting my workout. I just love their music in general, and listen to it often even outside of my workouts. Certain songs by Five Finger Death Punch and Metallica also show up in my workout playlists often. Sometimes I'll add stuff by Skillet, Three Days Grace, Killswitch Engage, or Within Temptation.
Sensing a theme, here?
If I'm feeling stressed and bored and just want my workout to be over already, I turn to a couple of my favorite songs by Nightwish and Epica that push 10-15 minutes in length. By the time the song's over, my workout is half done!

lots of Cake, Airborne Toxic Event, Tom Petty, Green Day, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Pink
although I love southern rock, Freebird is on the list of "if I never hear that again, I'll die happy" songs. Stairway to Heaven is also on that list. (any other Skynyrd tune is fine. LZ, not so much. Just not a fan)

Strangely enough I love running to "Freebird" - it starts out slow, but when the last 4 minutes of fast music comes on, it has an awesome beat. Love it! It's also long so I know about how well I'm doing timewise!

I'm using the Jeff Galloway 5K training app and it chooses what music from your playlist to play at different points in your workout based on beats per minute, i really enjoy that feature.

I have an app on my iphone called Slacker radio. It has several different stations just for work our songs, like rock workout, pop, alternative, etc. I switch back and forth between the different ones to get something new each time. I've even found some new favorites!

All of my music is fast with a strong beat meticulously chosen to keep me happy and working hard when I work out but my current all time best workout song is Moves Like Jagger. For some reason when it plays I can't help but step up my game and sometimes I even catch myself dancing a little as I work out.
Funny how most of my workout music are songs I don't normally listen too.
