I like barley mushroom soup. White chili is good (easy to make a no meat version). I love Thai soups too.

I'm a broccoli cheese fan too. I also had a fantastic corn chowder at a restaurant in Boston one time that I was able to get the recipe from the chef to.

My aunt used to put split pea soup in one half of the bowl and tomato in the other... Christmas colors. We usually had a grilled cheese sandwich with it. Another good soup is a butternut squash bisque.

Lentil---though I would want to have white rice with it, which has too many carbs!

Vegetarian tortilla soup can be a hit because everybody can decorate it to their own taste. I leave off the tortillas if I am eating it alone, but I make fresh tortillas when serving a group.

Of the list posted, minstrone is probably the one I'd most prefer. However my favorite soup (vegetarian or not) is tortilla soup. I make it both with chicken and vegetarian (actually vegan). Good luck choosing since there are so many choices.

So many to choose from....maybe vegetable beef or creamy tomato or potato leek or chicken vegetable or even beef stew.
