My husband and I are both in our 50s with a young daughter who is 11. When my husband's oldest son (from a previous marriage) announced that he would be getting married in June, we immediately went into panic mode wondering how we would get in shape before the wedding. Due to hectic work schedules and poor eating habits, we've packed on the weight in the last 12 years.
My husband decided that Jillian Michael's program was exactly what we needed.
The purpose of my post is to advise that at 5:30pm each and every day (except Sunday, which is the Sabbath Day) we exercise together as a family. I personally have found Jillian to be extremely motivating (and it takes a lot to get me motivated), personable, and her program is actually fun. Hard work does not have to be drudgery - it can be fun with the right mind set.
I am especially proud of my daughter who works out right along with us and in only the three weeks we have been on the program, she is embracing how good she feels and I am starting to notice her body changing. I am embracing the program as well - the results are overwhelming and I am actually excited to exercise everyday.
