I was completely motivated last fall and winter and I am hoping to stay that way this year. I actually enjoyed walking in the winter which showed me how motivated I was to get into shape.

Good! Easier to get outside for cardio. Hunting and fishing are prime, places I love to go aren't jammed with tourists. . . Perfect!

We are having fall weather in my area right now. The leaves are starting to change colors, and the temperature got into the 50's yesterday. I can't wait for the next high school football game to sit in the cool night air, drink an icy cold Coke, and listen to everyone cheer for their favorite team!

I love fall. For me, it's the best time for hiking. Winter, not so much, but I am lucky I have a gym at work, so I will continue to keep in hiking shape throughout winter. I even have microspikes to trudge through the snow on a hike if need be. :D.

I'm glad because I seem to do better with exercise when it's cooler.

I love fall, hate winter and not looking forward to dealing with 'New Year Resolutionist' crowd at the gyms. I applaud people trying to get in shape, but I am not looking forward to super-busy gyms and complete lack of gym etiquette. I also totally hate the frozen early winter mornings, when I get out of my warm cozy bed and into dark super cold nothingness just to get to the gym at 5 am.

Here in Houston, that's when I actually DO go outdoors. In the summer, no way. Heatstroke is not my idea of fun.

i much prefer this time of year to summer and the heat. i just exercise indoors most of the time

Falls great, winter depends. We tend to get ice here, which can hinder outside workouts (especially as I live on a hill) emoticon

I'm looking forward to it - it's the time of year that I can get outside. I stick to my treadmill and inside during the summers here in Florida.

I will exercise outside until it is 40 degrees then I move indoors to treadmill/WII/yoga etc. I really like fall but summer is definitely my favorite.

I love the changing of all of the seasons. And there is ALWAYS a way to get in exercise, just takes a little adjusting. As far as eating goes, well, I am not going to blame the season for poor choices I might make.

I do the least exercise in hot weather but my food choices are the best.
I do more exercise in Fall and Spring
Winter is the hardest food wise

I'm relatively good at keeping active during the fall & winter. And I like it because the gym is less busy! Although, I guess that isn't a good thing from a public health perspective.

I love fall & winter! But it's summer year long here in Malaysia. I think ice-skating & other winter activities are sooooooo much fun!

Use the x-bike or walk power laps throughout the house. Don't let a blizzard or the deep freeze stop the workouts. Whatever it takes.

Like you I'm planning on what I'll do for the winter, gym? walking up my apartment stairs (14floors) ? exercise videos? recreation centre classes? sparkpeople videos? dancing? I don't know, but I should do something, besides walking through malls, I've learned that is too costly.

this makes me so sad. I need to figure a way to keep up the activity as the weather cools.
