Some fad diets work but that's all. When you do a fad diet you don't change the way you think about nutrition so you are basically going to fall into unhealthy eating as soon as you quite the diet

The main reason I shared is that I've been here nearly a year, and see so many "fad" diets mentioned.

The person is hoping for a quick fix, when the only real answer is making lifestyle changes that you can live with - not a temporary change until you go back to "normal". At least, that's what seems to work for me - making this a lifetime commitment.
