You can do this! Feel free to add my on FB for support there as well. I have a lot of friends on FB that are from Spark. We help hold eachother accountable on there as well (which helps bc I'm on FB a lot). You can find my weight loss journey on FB. It provides a lot of support, motivation, diet and exercise tips etc!

I too am trying to find a facebook fitness buddy. Spark people has helped me, however talking to someone everyday would be a asset for me in keeping focused. Can you and I become spark buddys! I really hope so!!

I am new to face book and the interconnection with Spark. I agree about letting those you wish to friend let you know who and why. I am still a bit leery as I put my toe into the water in finding out how things work. If I don't reply, it may be ignorance or not knowing who an individual is.
Check out Workout Girl on FB. She is also here on Sparkpeople, but most of her stuff is on FB these days. She is very motivational, inspirational, and realistic. She already has almost 3,000 followers and only started that page last May! I think you'll find that it's a very supportive page.

Second, I accepted a couple already that I just happened to recognize from the photo, but again, if you do send me a friend request, send a MESSAGE with it so that I know you are from SparkPeople. There are a couple of invitations I've received that I'm just not responding to since I do not recognize the names from this group or from any of my others.

It's not facebook, but you might want to check out www.dailymile.com. It's social networking for athletes (and I don't mean just elite athletes...I mean anyone who is committed to physical fitness at any level...seriously!). It's super motivational to get that support.
Michelle387 - Hi ..im 36 female and I need motivation too Major so we can both motivate each other.. I been off for 6 days because of my monthly cycle..i know thats not an excuse..and i do feel ashamed..now i need to get back on track..i need major motivation please..i can do this on my own..tomorrow is a new day and a new week..
