I didn't make it! Boo. I was 165.4 when I started this challenge and am now 159.2. So I lost 6 pounds in 6 weeks. I could have done better, BUT 6 lbs is definitely an improvement. I'll take it!! It certainly hasn't helped that there have been pot luck meals at church and birthday dinners and mothers' day. too many "special occasions" for me to splurge at them all. I've just got to keep going! How did everyone else do??

I didn't quite make my goal, but I am refocusing my energies on my goals. I still feel good about my progress.

I'm struggling here!!! When I changed my weight loss goal for this challenge, my calorie limit was lowered and I'm having trouble staying under this limit. I'm barely making it! yesterday I had 1 calorie left to eat at bedtime! I've got to make more adjustments to my diet. tweak it a little. More exercise--even just a little would help. I've increased the intensity of my usual workout, which I don't really know how to account for. I just keep this knowledge in my mind. I have 9 pounds to lose by the end of the challenge. I can do this!! Reaching this goal is doubly important to me. When I lose these 9 pounds, I will be in the healthy BMI range! Barely, but still there!!

My goal weight for the 4th of July is 45 kg's. emoticon

I was 62 kg's a month or so ago... I am now 58 kg's. I joined SPARKPEOPLE today emoticon

I'll join. I would like to lose 10-15 lbs. I used to work in a baby room of a daycare. I would wear a pedometer and my steps would always be over 10,000 per day. On April 1st I just opened my own store. I put on 5 lbs in the last week alone. I decided to snap that pedometer back on and finding that my steps dropped to 1500 step a day. Ugh! I don't like that.

My goal,is to be under 159 by 4th of July by sticking to by fitness and nutrition tracking. With the days getting longer, it will be easier to stay active. Good luck everyone!

I will be out of town but I will do the following

track food and exchanges

get some exercise in whether in fitness room or walk or swim

Hi Leslie!
I'm joining this one with you. My goal is to be down to 194 by the 4th of July, as I plan on losing 40 lbs by then. My start weight is: 234
I know I can do this, as I have recently been diagnosed with Hypothyroid which has slowed me back from losing thusfar. But now, starting the thyroid med they put me on, I should have a much easier time getting the weight off. And of course, it's up to me to eat within reason, and get exercise.

I must say to you Leslie,
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon on losing all your weight from where you started. I am soooo happy for you! It's got to be a wonderful feeling to have accomplished so much!

My birthday is shortly afterwards and I want to be at my goal weight then 15 lbs

set your own goal -mine is 15 lbs.
journal your food- spark tracker, phone app, paper and pen or cameral what ever exchange cards
exercise 30 min aim for twice a day but if time cruch just make it once
water 8 glases a day
post your weigh in.

busy today but will work on getting exercise in
I have a goal at 175 but when I get there I will see if want to go lower.

I am in tops so I plan on using the exchange cards and slowly get to an online journal too.
anyone joining this challenge I wish you success.
