You ARE a dang good cook!
And I believe your daughter will not have the weight problems you and I had because she has already been making healthy choices. She's still a little chunky, but as she grows, I am sure she will slim out. Youth has great advantages! Nina

So about two weeks ago, I decided that three nights a week, I was going to make vegetarian dinners (ovolactovegetarian-not vegan-not that there's anything wrong with that!). Mind you, I have two picky kids and their picky father to cook for. My mother (MamiSheli53) is on board, of course, because she doesn't have to cook and I'm a good dang cook. I was concerned that they would be like-"Um, where's the meat?" No! They have ALL been okay with eating vegetarian three nights a week so far! I'm not trying to totally steer them away from meat...just trying to help(make) them make healthier choices right along with me and my mother.
The BIGGEST deal in this is my kids' "Starch King" father-who didn't eat anything but white bread, or if it was wheat-it had to be the buttertop or whole grain white bread, and my daughter who only liked bread crunchy if it was toast(my fault because when she was very little, all I would get was white bread)...BOTH of them are now loving 12 grain bread. My son who was a baby when I first decided to make healthier choices has been accustomed to 12 grain bread since he was eating solids, and he rarely has enjoyed white bread...but for my daughter and their daddy to eat 12 grain? MILAGRO!
