Can you have a few consultations with a register dietitian? It definitely would be worth it. Also, don't overlook the value of daily exercise. It helps tremendously in this type of situation.

My family doctor and I talked so I can avoid metformin for now I need a super low carb diet. I am limited to the max of 50 carbs total a day. I supportive people in a similar situation and recipe ideas.
