and was pleasantly surprised! Unfortunately the battery on my scale died so I was unable to precisely measure the ingredients, leaving me with no clue as to the calorie content (sorry!) but I will make this again now that I have a new battery. High in fibre and protein, I should imagine, and I used xylitol instead of sugar.
I have made black bean brownies before and, whilst I ate them, I think the recipe needed a little tweaking to more effectively 'hide' the taste of black beans! My next experiment will be some oat and bean biscuits (cookies?) from a recipe I saw on YouTube.
What do you think about making cakes and biscuits using beans as the main ingredient?
