I have always wanted to try belly dancing. It sounds like so much fun.

I really like the workout videos that I find on Jillian Michaels has some good ones, and fitness blender has all different types. They are great! No equipment needed!

You don't need fancy equipment to get fit.

Walking, the cardio videos here on Spark, bellydancing, etc are all great ways of doing cardio for free.

There are some great suggestions on this thread already about bodyweight strength training, and resistance bands at a very low cost.

Weights can be pricey, but I bought an awesome set of 3 resistance bands that you can use separately or combine 2 or all 3 different ways to customize your resistance. They're Gold's Gym brand, and they were about $15 at WalMart. Strength training definitely helps your body in SO many ways!!

While that activity will provide cardio and some limited muscle coordingation work adding a good bodyweight exercise programme will produce additional long term benefits and can be done anywhere, anytime.

I can not afford to buy the equipment that everyone uses here. I come up with the decision to do belly dancing. No extra equipment needed. It is also easy on the muscles and joints. I have lost 5 lbs in 2 and a half weeks
