I agree with the previous poster. Your doctor is the best one to provide advice on your exercise routine.

Good luck!

You should get clearance from your doctor before starting an exercise program.

Hi everyone!

I have a bulged disc in my back, as well as SI joint dysfunction :( Needless to say, the pain is really bad when I have a flare up.

I was working out 5 days a week when I started at Sparkpeople, but due to flare ups and having to take breaks, I've only been able to get up 2 days a week before I have another flare up and am on the bench again (for over two years).

I was wondering if anyone out there has similar issues to me and could suggest some exercises I could do from a seated position, or cardio which is super low impact (to get me started when I'm back on my feet). Is there such a thing? Just wanted to get a read on if anyone else out there encounters similar problems.
