As the PP said, it depends on the kind of "ill". Fever- i don't exercise. a cold- I exercise. I also exercise through PMS and mine can get bad (but chiro helps big time on that too).
I agree that your body needs to heal and if it is just "not feeling well" vs. a fever, vomiting, or diarreah, you will have to be the judge.

Depends on the type of 'ill' I'm feeling. Exercise actually helps me feel better when I have a head cold or even PMS cramps. Anything below the neck though, that's when I take a day off and drink lots of soup. Feel better!

Exercise is a bad idea if you're sick. Take time to rest, relax, and only eat what you can handle. Get well soon! :)
If you are unwell, I don't think exercise is best - you are better off to focus on letting your body heal itself, and ensure that you are getting good nutrition in maintenance mode rather than weight-loss.
