Your initial suspicion is correct. There's no way to spot-reduce the parts of your body you don't like! Because fat loss is a total-body process, only overall fat loss will get the parts you want slimmer to slim down. :}

Burning fat is an all-body process, and you can't target where you lose weight from. Energy is delivered to the muscles via the bloodstream, NOT from being absorbed from surrounding fat stores. Specific exercises may develop the relevant muscles, but will do absolutely nothing about the overlying layer of fat.

What you can do is to continue to reduce your overall body fat through a combination of cardio, all-body strength training, and watching your intake, and some of it will naturally come off the armpits.

Are there any exercises specifically for the ARMPITS? I have a few for triceps, and some chest, but nothing seems to target that flab where the arm meets the chest, which wouldn't be a big deal if I had some chest! But my puffy underarms are bigger than my boobs and I'm just sick of it! Im about average weight everywhere else...Does the weight need to come off or an exercise for that region? Both? Any advice? Thanks!
