Oh that's too bad:/ There are apps on your phone you could use to attempt to track it with too that might give you a decent estimate.

Cool!

I don't think that those devices would be accurate for me because my BMR is nowhere near normal. I am also one of those people with low blood pressure whose heart rate barely moves even with intense exercise. Even after 2 hours of very intense Zumba, my BPM will only be like 70. The same with running...my heart rate just never goes very high.

I guess that means that I am very fit. Or part alligator. :)

I have a heart rate monitor that tracks my time and calories burned and I used the option Add Own Exercise and manually enter each time. I do a new entry each time even for the same workout because the calories burned changes. Before that I just picked the closest thing.

Lately I seem to be doing a lot of things that just aren't in the tracker. Picking fruit is one. This year I have picked strawberries, raspberries (twice) blueberries and cherries. I am counting that as "gardening" for lack of a better option.

Another one is canyoneering. I am counting it as 50% "Walking: 18 MPH" and 50% "Swimming: Crawl." Really it is walking though calf-to-knee-deep water, swimming against the current and scrambling up and down embankments. Probably I am cheating myself out of calories with this one.

I have long since created my own category for Latin dancing. I got tired of seeing "Disco Ballroom Square" in my tracker when I was really doing salsa, merengue and bachata.

What do you do that is hard to track?
