Now that I'm retired I use exercise as a hobby, Twice a week, I swim 2 miles in 1 hour 3 min. Ride bike 3 times a week, 40 miles, avg. 17 mph, and I have 2 gym classes, body works and yoga. It keeps me happy and in good shape.

Nothing tastes or feels as good as being fit and slim feel!

I buffet my body and make it my slave!

When I eat healthy I enjoy my food all day!

I tend to be the same way. I will be really motivated to exercise for a few days, maybe a week if I'm lucky, and then I get bored or it loses its flair. You've probably heard it before, but try getting a workout buddy; someone you can really have a mutual dependence with. That has helped me SO MUCH. I have been going to Curves for about three months, and this past month I really hit a slump but she has been going with me and making sure I go three days a week. You can do it! Here's a few of my faves:

-Don't focus on the now, but gaze ahead at what will be.
-What doesn't show in weight, probably shows in tape.
-If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten.

Oh...I like the cold and snow too, but I have a 9 month old that I worry about getting too cold so I don't stay outside with her for very long. She loves being outside too...so I'll be able to do more with her when it warms up.

I'd rather think of it as cleaning the house and gerdening rather than the "E" word.

I personally LOVE snow and cold, and detest the heat of summer and mud of spring. our 38 below on monday was chilly, but fun!! i went out and ran around just to hear the snow crunch. And shovelling is such WONDERFUL exercise!!

Well I got mine in today. I wish I really enjoyed it. Walked to treadmill with TV an Ipod. Did a little strength training.

Maybe one day it will be fun! I always enjoy walking outside the best, so maybe when spring comes.

Remember, it ALL counts. you dont have to do 2 hours all at once. break it up into small, workable segments!

I'm really looking forward to that! I have to talk myself into exercise everyday...today was day number 8 for me though so I kinda have a streak going that I don't want to break so that helps.

exercise is a great stress reducer and allows me to priortize my goals/ thoughts.

Inspiration. Perspiration. Perseverance. Accept everything about myself- I mean everything, you are you and that is the beginning and the end - no apologies, no regrets.

It's great that you pushed through the not wanting to exercise and worked out anyway. Getting started is often the hardest part - then you feel great when you finish.

Today was tough...I really didn't want to work out, but I made myself do it. I'm glad I did...it made me feel so much better and gave me a lot more energy.

Hey everyone! I've been here a week today...and so far I love it. Tomorrow I am starting my exercise...I wanted to ease myself into the program the first week, but starting tomorrow morning, I'll be hitting it hard. Wish me luck!
