I use a rebounder every day. It's one of those mini trampolines. I too am looking at losing 50 pounds give or take and I need low impact right now for my knees. I use the Urban Rebounder; it is solid and I don't feel like it will break. I have had it for quite a few years - it's been used by the whole house and is wonderful.

WOW, HOW GREAT TO SEE THAT WORK OUT FOR YOU! AND I APPRECIATED READING THE SUGGESTION. IT REALLY IS GOOD TO GET THE RIGHT ANSWERS AND "WORK SMART" AS YOU SEE...AND GET TO EAT MORE...GOOD DEAL. AND CONGRATULATION ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS...WAY TO GO!

Thanks Jen that does help! I think Im going about it all wrong, I will add in strength training into my workouts, and cut back on the raquetball! Ive been doing a little strength training, but not a lot. I do track what Im eating and keep track of calories, Im diabetic so I also keep a close eye on my sugars. I think i may have been working out too much and not eating enough! .Thanks so much!

I recommend 30-45 minutes of cardio, 4-5 times per week. So you really don't need to be doing 2 hours of cardio a day (unless it's something you just enjoy doing). I'd also recommend adding strength training to your routine 2-3 times per week. Are you tracking all of your food? When it comes to weight loss, what you are eating is going to be a bigger factor in your progress than exercise.

Hope that helps,

Coach Jen

Hi I recently started exercising again, I play raquetball for an hour, 5 times a week, and ride a stationary bike for an hr as well 5 days a week. The other days I try to walk 5 miles, I havent lost much weight and need to find some different exercises that can help get rid of my stomach, I have bad knees so I dont walk on the treadmill, what other exercises can I be doing each day, to burn fat and help eliminate my stomach, I need to lose roughly 50 lbs to meet my goals. Any help would be appreciated!
