Anita is in other Jillian Michaels videos (and her info-mercial) so I am not sure if she is someone who was a model and now knows her, or is still just paid by them. In Ripped in 30, she seems to actually know the ladies, and the workout is a little tougher.

I too was curious in the past (about the 30 Day Shred girls) and I tried to do some web searching. I couldn't find anything about Anita, but I did come across Natalie's fitness page before. She's quite the buff lady! natalieyco.com/
None of the various DVDs of workouts are shot start to finish without a break, the film industry does not work that way. If you watch carefully you will note minor discrepancies from scene to scene as the previous poster noted. I am sure that the personnel in the videos are carefully selected for their fitness, athletic ability and overall attractiveness. While they most certainly workout it is most likely not with JM since they are paid performers and not her clients. For a better woman trainer check out the workouts from Rachael Cosgrove, she is a certified personal trainer and not an actor in a TV show.

I am not exactly sure about that. But I do know in one of her videos and from her FB posts, that they spend HOURS a day filming a video. So they edit all the pieces together to form the workout. SO their endurance during the video may have had some breaks in it that we don't see. The kickbox one, the "warm up" or first circuit on the second round of it, the one girl's shirt has tons of sweat showing on it, and they barely got started.
I don't know but I agree! I restarted the 30 day shred this week and I hope I can get some results too.

So-- this is kind of random, but I was wondering who are the awesome women that Jillian Michaels features in her exercise videos are? Are they just sports models hired from an agency, or does Jillian know them and work with them in real life? Are they athletes of some kind? I guess I want to know because they are truly impressive with their endurance, muscle tone, and overall fitness, in addition to seeming like real women as opposed to just someone who is "pretty."
