I too love her DVD's. I like her warm up and cool down. I don't know if it is just me, but I do not think other DVD's do a good job of either. Her last DVD I bought has the time posted on it so you can see how long you have been going, or when your gonna be done.
honestly, a few years ago when i weighed 240 pounds, I started off with Billy Blank's Tae Bo dvds...I was really out of shape and never exercised before and I did it..I think anyone can it just depends on what intensity you're looking for..and how much you are willing to push yourself.
If you have direct tv, 1 of the spark bootcamp videos is on there for the month. Look in the video on demand/ magazine rack/ fitness. Oh, thats also another good source. Cable, etc has on demand and all have some sort of fitness area with a variety of stuff.

I swear I'm not a paid endorsement, but Coach Nicole's 28 day bootcamp is AWESOME for beginners!!! It's at Target or Amazon.com. Comprehensive, lots of workouts, she explains things well.
I liked "the firm" older stuff like the body sculpting system. Your best bet is to hit the local library and check out a variety of things. If you are really new to working out, maybe Leslie Sansone walking stuff. If you are wanting a mix of cardo and weights, there is biggest looser, Denise Austin, etc. You should be able to find things that you like and that will challenge you. Always try before you buy. I have bought things and then hated them.
