I'm trying to make an excuse to not exercise today... but it looks like I'm going to do it.

Procrastination is the act of putting something off. Assuming that, wouldn't there have to be excuses (reasons that made perfect sense to a person) as to why they procrastinate? Just my opinion.

What is the difference between procrastination and an excuse?

I have serious back and leg issues and exercise is beyond painful. Walking the dogs and getting groceries is as much fun as I care to have. However, I will eat ripe peaches LOL.

there's always the "I don't want to hurt their feelings" excuse when somebody shows up with homemade baked goods

I have this really bad excuse of eating all the junk food in the house before making a clean start...

How about needing to eat up something in your cabinet because it is too much of a temptation so I'll start back tomorrow after getting rid of this stuff.

I ate fast food mashed potatoes (and of course gravy) because my stomach was bothering me and I was already over my calories for the day. My first day on SP was a failure. emoticon Tomorrow will be better!

What did you recently put off or make an excuse for, and why?

I made a high-calorie dessert today because I had peaches that were getting too ripe to eat each just as a peach!
