Two good books about the raw diet are: 12 Steps to Raw Foods by Victoria Boutenko and Raw Food Life Force Energy by Natalia Rose. Some raw diets are stricter than others. The raw diet consists of mainly vegetables, portobello mushrooms, fruits,some meat and fish, highest quality grains such as millet, quinoa, amaranth, spelt and kamut, sea salt, stevia raw milk and raw goat cheese and sprouted grain bread. It is a really healthy diet and I try to stay as close to this diet as I can for the most part. I feel great when I eat this way and try to incorporate it into my daily eating.
