This website is hands-down the best resource I've ever found for PG test knowledge. check it out. Ignore the crappy web design... it really is a wealth of good info. :)

Don't trust anything that long. Retest.

Most tests are to discarded after 10 minutes and some will give a false positve after this time. The line that indicates pregnancy does NOT have to be the exact same color or thickness as the "test" line. Even a very faint line indicates a positive pregnancy. Even with a positve test you still need to confirm with your doctor.

I've always read to discard a test and ignore any result after 10 minutes. How far out from your period are you? I'd get another test and test first thing in the am after no beverages and stare at the test until the 2 minutes is up.

I took a test and forgot about it until about 30 minutes later and it had 2 lines, both thick and pink. Was the other pink line an evap line? Are evap lines always faint? I drank some tea and took another one and at the end of the 5 min it looked neg and at 15 looked faintly pink.
