That is a lat puldown machine--you never start the exercise with the hands overhead and pulling down, but in a more nutural position. The lat pulldown machine at my gym, has a release pedal to begin engaging the weights.

I hope this helps!

Hello, I looked at the leg curl again and realize I was mistaken.

The seated lat pull down machine starts with the instructors arms low down and then she appears pushes up.

The first photo looks like she's at rest with arms at her side, and the last photo looks like she's pushing and the machine is high up.

Hi,

I just looked at the demonstration for the seated leg curl and that is correct. If you see Coach Nicole's starting position she is starting in the up phase and pulling down which focuses on the hamstrings. A leg extension has the client starting in the down position and pushing upward focusing on the quads.

The seated lat pulldown is correct as well as I see she is pulling the machine down.

Is there any way you can direct me specifically as to what you are seeing?

THANKS!

Coach Nancy

Hello,

I really like the printable exercise pages but believe there are some errors in them.

Seated Leg Curl Machine - picture appears to show the same as leg extension, which is the reverse of this machine.

Seated Lat Pulldown Machine - picture shows someone pushing a bar up, instead of pulling down. Picture doesn't match the text.

Am I mistaken? can someone please correct these errors? And thank you again for a great printable resource I take to the gym.
