Stay away from SUGARS/STARCHES as they pump out INSULIN that make us fat, and then the stomach pumps out GHERLIN to make us HUNGRY for more sugar/starches. Read "WHY WE GET FAT AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT" by Gary Taubes. Great book that says fat doesn't make us fat, but sugar/starches do. Dr. Atkins knew what he was talking about.

I think I have had an epiphany! I feel like I have been trapped inside a shell of a person I don't know. This week has been amazing. I am feeling healthier and more energetic because I am making better choices about what I am eating and getting regular exercise. Most importantly I feel a sense of control for the first time in many years. I have committed to tracking the food I eat and blogging daily about how I am feeling. I have used these tools to help me make better choices instead of depriving myself and then going on a binge. I'm not looking for quick results just constant steady progress. For the first time in a long time I am starting to believe in myself and it feels good!
