Thanks for the amazing support!
Ivyglass: Thank you - my trainer showed me a new technique that really gets the legs burning after he said I was leaning forward too much! Made a huge difference!

Libbyl!: Just keep it up! I could barely manage 6 minutes at first and now I'm up to 45... I listen to podcasts (news and comedy) and audiobooks which makes a big difference. Without them, a workout seems to go on forever! (Also I play audiobooks at 1.5 times their normal speed otherwise I get distracted in the gym)

Wow! well done on fitness and endurance (I can't last on any of these machines beyond ten minutes as feel like I will go out of my mind with the monotony - but I keep trying)

Good on you. I still remember my first time on the elliptical... Now I do HIIT on the elliptical. Just go for it... You will be so glad you did.

Good job! Try this when you're ready...don't hang onto the handle bars while on the elliptical. You'll work your core and your legs more.

Woohooo!

Just came from the gym having completed 45 minutes on an elliptical trainer!
When I started, I couldn't even do 10 without having to stop to catch my breath (after 3 minutes I felt pretty bad). Each time, I've gone further and for longer... and today reached the goal my trainer set for me of 45 minutes.

Yeehaw!!!!
