I have been using the Nutrition Tracker for over 2 years. I am so aware of sodium, potassium, and other things besides protein, carbs, and fat. I stay within my range by recording everything I eat whenever possible. I'm aware of portion control. I study online menus prior to arriving at a restaurant. I have a good idea of what I plan to order.
My treat list is frozen yogurt or an occasitional apple crisp. Mindful eating is a important thing also.
I have some dextrose pills if I feel strange at the gym. I get the sugar I need fast and then can control my calories.
