You might need to experiment to find the best level of calories for you. Consider slowly increasing from where you are by 100-200 calories at a time, and see how you feel and what kind of weight loss progress you make. You could also set your calories burned goal to reflect how much exercise you're doing (using the old method) and see what kind of range the program gives you.

Ok.. I just changed it and now it says I should be eating 2024-2400 calories.. That seems like an awful lot.

There are 2 different methods to calculate your calorie range: one is based on your calories burned goal, and the other is based on the exercise you're tracking. So if your calories burned fluctuates a lot from day to day, you might consider changing to that method. To do this, click on Account Preferences at the top left of your Start page, scroll down and you can change it from there.

Hope that helps,

Which method are you using to determine your recommended calorie range? Is it based on a calories burned goal or does it change based on the exercise you track in your fitness tracker?

Yes, you should eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day. So if you burn 900-1000 calories you need to much eat more.

I believe so. You still want to create a deficit but you need to take in enough calories to help you rebuild and recover.

Today is a new day and I will not quit!

On days that i do spin class or bootcamp where i burn 900-1000 calories a session i tend to get hungrier than days where i only burn 500-600. Should i be eating more on days where i burn 1,000 calories at the gym? I have been adding more protein too.
