I love a simple smoothie after my workouts. I usually do a greek yogurt/almond milk/whey protein and a splash of cinnamon

My favourite post workout snack is a glass of milk. Doesn't matter what time of day I work out, that's my go-to. Some sugar and protein and water all rolled into one.

I work out at night and find something small, like a glass of chocolate milk is enough to keep me from feeling "funky" after a workout but not so much that I feel bloated or full when I go to bed.

I always have something to eat after I work out. How much depends upon what time of day it is. I am a night snacker, so if I work out at night I make sure to have something afterwards like pudding, fruit, oatmeal etc. If I eat too much I have trouble sleeping due to digestion but I try to keep it at a moderate intatke.

I certainly wouldn't eat a ton after working out and then trying to go to sleep; I know for me it is just uncomfortable to sleep when I'm too full. But eat something to keep your metabolism up after you work out; some apple and natural PB or veggies and hummus just as a light snack :)

Timing of food intake is now known to be irrelevant. Only thing is I find is not to eat to much before you go into the gym or else you are too bloated.
Eat when you want and what you feel comfortable with.

Hopefully this is in the right board.
Due to a busy schedule, I usually only have time to work out late at night. Which also means I tend to work out about an hour and a half before I generally go to sleep. I've been reading that its good/ok to eat something after working out...But is it still good if you plan on sleeping right after said eating?
