I wouldn't be inclined to do any exercise first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. The first job of the day should be to fuel your body after the night's fast - even if it is just a snack. Below are a couple links that you may find helpful:
No, this is PERFECT time to eat! Your body needs that energy, and if your in a hurry a granola bar with some fruit is a great fast bfast. I workout first thing in the morning too and used to try waiting until after my shower and getting dressed before having breakfast. I don't do that anymore, and suddenly I have more energy and fewer headaches.
Actually, I think ideally we're supposed to eat a little something BEFORE the A.M. workout, and I know I do work out a little better with some food in me but Monday through Friday I just don't have time for that.
Definitely eat as soon as you can after, though! Even if you are not "hungry" you'll notice a difference in how you feel. :-)

I'm a college student and I usually go to spinning classes early in the morning on an empty stomach (I can still work at my max on an empty stomach) but after spinning I have to go straight to my morning class. My question is: should I eat breakfast right after my cardio workout or should I wait at least 30 minutes to eat? Right now I'm trying to lose weight, but mainly my body fat percentage. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks.
