I'm following ETL and I feel so much better. My cravings for sweets, cheese, alcohol and junky carbs are gone. That is the most profound change I've experienced over the past month. I agree with the basic idea that eating high nutrient foods is good for the body. I'm not meat fanatic, so it's not a big deal for me to cut back on meat. I do miss being able to sauté veggies in olive oil.

A cup of chilled lentils served with a squeeze of lemon juice, chopped red onion, campari tomatoes, Maldon sea salt flakes, and pepper is an amazing lunch for me. It satisfies me for 6-7 hours. I was so excited to make this personal discovery! Sometimes, I expand this lunch by adding chopped romaine, arugula, sunflower seeds, and mixture of sautéed mushrooms, red peppers, and onions (sautéed in water per ETL, then chilled). I never knew I'd enjoy the taste of chilled sautéed veggies in my salad. YUM!

Yes, I have heard of it and am working on incorporating some of his suggestions into my eating plans. There is a team for those who are using the plan Eat to Live

Hi I'm new to Spark People and I'm really interested in the information I've been researching and so far the info I've seen Dr Joel Fuhrman's eating plan is grabbing my attention. Is any one on this plan or starting this plan soon?
