I don't have any family in town. Maybe I'll get a chocolate Easter bunny if I can find one that is vegan.

I'm not religious at all...so it's kinda just a day with Ham being served for me - and I'm not a "Ham Fan", so no worries at all about calories or anything that day. Maybe green beans and mashed potatoes with salad?
We don't have any young kids or anything left in the family (few more years until it's time for grand kids or grand nieces, etc.).
My one brother who just started a pretty shattering divorce should be here...so it will be subdued to say the least, and my I invited my son's father to come over.

I will be going to my parents house to spend a few days with the family. I have no idea what is on the menu - I imagine we'll go to a local Easter brunch with all the fixings. I am vegetarian so I just hope for a big salad and some nice meat free side dishes
I think we're going to spend the holiday at his brother's house. There's some drama going on at the family home, where we've traditionally spent the day. I hope this doesn't degenerate into some sort of "thing".
No idea what's on the menu. I need to touch base. Usually pot-luck in previous years. Who knows, this year.

I don't celebrate, but it's special to mom, so I usually buy the parents some Easter candy and go home for a few days. I'm camping with family next week, so we'll see how plans shape up then. Mom usually makes a turkey breast or ham with trimmings, and some sort of dessert.
Going out for breakfast with the in-laws and then the hubby and I are going to the Casino. We need to get away and have some fun together. We've been under a lot of stress.

my sister has been visiting for the last week, I just took her to the airport to go home this morning. I'm tired out from all the running around we did and just plan on a quiet day today. no Easter plans.
We celebrate at a church wide Easter dinner that includes many extended family in town. We started doing this years ago for those without family in our mobile society. Well, it's taken off and every one comes and celebrates. Lots of food choices healthy and unhealthy but I bring healthy choices I can eat and we have many at Church who will as well. It's a great time for all!
I am hosting the dinner for hubby, my 17 year old daughter and I.Tthe company will be my oldest daughter, her husband, and my grandson. I will also have my sister, her hubby, and my nephew, and maybe my BIL's other son. We are having ham, mac and cheese (homemade) green bean casserole, dinner rolls , green salad, pita chips with hummus, doritos, candy, rootbeer floats and cake. Dinner will be at noon, and then followed up with an Easter egg hunt. Fun times! :) Happy Easter! I did real easy this year :)
My husband & I go to his son's house for Easter dinner - we get to see our 2 grandsons for a few hours. We have an hour and half drive (one way) to their home so we don't stay too late. My daughter-in-law usually makes a ham, potatoes, veggies, salad (the usual fare). I am bringing apple pie for dessert & she always has fruit for dessert too.
I want to wish everyone here that celebrates a blessed Easter - enjoy your day with family & friends.

What's everyone (who's celebrating) doing for Easter? What's on the menu?
We have a very small-knit group family-wise, mostly celebrating holidays with my mom's side of the family since we don't really get along with members on my dad's side. So my sister, brother-in-law, grandmother, and boyfriend are coming over for lunch. Recently my mom got a free turkey from Giant (reason: I don't know) so we're switching it up and doing Easter Thanksgiving-style - turkey, potatoes, broccoli casserole - but we're going to have some springtime elements as well. I'll be making a blackberry mandarin quinoa salad and fruit salad for dessert!
Whether or not you celebrate, hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!
