My dinner was great success! There was 8 of us and I sent lots of leftovers out the door! (including nearly half of the key lime cheesecake!) I`m bringing meatloaf sandwiches to work all week and hubby gets the left over ham. It was a great time family!
These recipes sound really good! I really need to try the "vegetable potato salad" and te pasta salad sounds kinda like what I have on my tentative menu .Here is the menu I sent to family and they all approved! Baked Ham Meat Loaf Bacon Ranch Potatoes Orange Glazed Sweet Potatoes Green Beans Italian Pasta Fresh Pea Salad Deviled Eggs Fresh Veggie Tray Fresh Fruit & Cheese Tray Cool Lime Cheesecake Lemon Cupcakes I know this all sounds very high calorie, but I am tweaking all recipes that need tyweaked and the pasta salad and desserts are low cal versions!

One of my go to salads is super easy but I don't really use a recipe and it can be tweaked to accomodate anyone's tastes... It's a cold pasta salad and here's what I use.
1 box of whole wheat pasta 1 can of black olives 1 jar of pickled vegetables, minus the pickling liquid (cauliflower, carrots, peppers, etc.) Fat free Zesty Italian dressing
Cook the pasta to your preferred texture, pour a bit of the dressing on it to ensure it doesn't stick together and let cool. Add the olives and vegetables and as much of the dressing as you'd like. I usually save a bit of the dressing to add right before serving as the pasta will absorb much of it initially. I've also been known to add pepperoni to the salad or cucumbers, feta cheese, or just about anything that tickles my fancy at the time or that I have in the cupboard. Hope this helps and good luck!

hii before anything.... my name is yimaira and im trying to my sister to achive her weight lost goal but one thing anyone know the irguing food can be which is crazy because im.... her youngest sister and iam 24yrs weighing about 118-119 but wanna gain a little more thats why im asking for help i want to see my sister smile for her real happiness which she deserve ":) please feel free to give advise or anything helpfull
Maybe start with a cup of homemade Black Bean Soup, a taco chip and a dollop of sour cream ontop
How about Wild Rice with slivered almonds or crumbled walnuts as a side? Steamed Green Beans with Seasame Seeds for crunch. Maybe Sweet and sour red cabbage...loads of receipes on the net Steam half ears of sweet corn or get the frozen kind and microwave them Steamed Brussels sprouts drizzled with Oil oil Cold Broccoli salad just omit the raisins Steamed Califlower Cold Cucumber and onion salad in Sour Cream or yogurt Applesauce
No mashed potatoes okay so how about a baked sweet potato with cinnamon.
Pumpkin and peach pies go good with ham. Save the bone and make homemade soup with the bone. Ideas: Pea or lentil soup.
I have invited my family to Easter dinner at my house....now what to cook? I thinking about 10 people, youngest 13 and oldest 61....we usually have ham, but what are some healthy suggestions for sides? I have desserts figured out, but need some hot sides and some cold salad ideas, please..... Oh and.... I do not like any kind of mashed potato, so please no suggestions in that direction :) THANK YOU :o)
