Because you're going back to PT, I'd recommend asking your therapist what exercises they would suggest. They'll be able to give you the most specific advice based on your medical history.

Good morning all, after a rough 7 months of dealing with a fractured foot and going through an MS episode it's finally time to go back to PT next week. I need to strengthen my core body, and legs (mostly my left side; weakened by MS episode). Tone....all over. I have mini weight balls that I hold in my hands to do arm exercises. My neighbor gave me a rubber strap that I can stand on and it has handles to do more exercises. Sometimes I do fall over (oops) until I get my center gravity back. I can't afford a gym membership so looking for ideas of other things I can do at home. DVD player broke this weekend so saving up for another one of those. Someone mentioned getting a holder for over the door that I could attach my strap to, sit in a chair and do exercises. Will have to research that. Also, through my employer next week we begin our Get Fit Walking program. Each of us was given a pedometer and we have to log in our steps each day. Baby steps. Just looking for ideas! Thank you all.
