The problem with most diets is that they force you to eat in ways that you can't sustain long term. So when you go back to eating normally again, the weight comes right back. Your best bet is to make changes to your eating plan that you can live with forever. That's the best way to take weight off, but more importantly, keep it off for good.

Hope that helps,

Below is a link to WebMD, which is a very respectable site! Make sure that you read it in it's entirety, including page 2 "The Dukan Diet: What the Experts Say", and "The Dukan Diet: Food for Thought"

My suggestion is to save your money and apply good, sensible, BALANCED eating, including plenty of fruit and veges (think a rainbow of colour) and some exercise and you will see results in a healthy fashion.

I'm thinking about starting the Dukan Diet. What are your thoughts on this? Is it healthy? Is it easy? Any big success stories? And sample menus? Thanks!
