I have found that the easiest way to insure I am getting 8 cups of water a day is to get a 8 oz glass and fill it every 2 hours. I set my alarms on an old phone to go off every 2 hours as a reminder to drink my water. This really helps even better than having a big container with water that I sip all day because I tend to ignore the container until the water is warm and I am dehydrated.
