Great job! If you can't order a new dress (or can't afford to) look for a dressmaker. Not even someone who does alterations. That is such a significant loss that the dress could be almost disfigured to alter it. 2 sizes can be done, but 12 might be pushing it!

Deb - I think you need to appreciate the difference in sizing between the US and NZ....just remember they have those crazy 0 sizes that have no equivalents in other markets...the drops are VERY dramatic in the US...who knows why...must have a consumer buying advantage of some kind...:-)

You've dropped from a size 24 to a size 12 since January?

That's pretty spectacular. Mind you, you'd have probably noticed your weight loss success in your regular clothes, so perhaps it might've come to mind about the dress...

Hope you have time to get a new one! :)

Okay its awesome to lose to weight (Even if I've sucked at it lately).....but not so good when you're in a wedding in 50 days. I ordered my bridesmaid dress in January, ordered a size smaller in "Case" I lose weight. Well the dress came in - went to get it today. Its a size 22, completely falls off me. They re-measured me and I should be in a size 12.....woops!
