My wedding is in April and my first dress fitting was in the middle of February. I knew I'd put on some pounds over the holidays, but when I tried my dress on at the beginning of January I was mortified to realize that the slip wouldn't zip up and the dress probably wouldn't either (I couldn't do it myself since the zipper's in the back). I immediately began searching for ideas of how to whip back into shape in a month and a half. This is how I ran into Spark People. I am happy to say that by the time of my dress fitting in February I had lost those pounds I'd gained and I fit into my dress at the fitting. Since the fitting, I have even lost a few more pounds! I've been religiously using Spark People and have signed up for a 7K. This week I'm running 3.75 miles, and will increase .25 miles each week after. I should be ready to go for the 7K in a couple weeks!
