So you are doing more than you are giving yourself credit for--FANTASTIC! Small changes "good", lead up to "big" changes and habits. There is nothing that says time is of the essence. Yes we would all love to change in a hurry, but progress is progress. Weight loss is healthiest if it is small and steady.
Feeling guilty for eating is NOT okay. We have to eat to live and on top of that...if you eat too little, you will not lose weight. You have to feed your body in order for it to lose. Many people think if they starve themselves or skip one or two meals a day that they will get where they want to be. A "diet" must be a life-style change and not just a diet...or it simply will not work.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we have a tendency to be extremely critical of ourselves. The vast majority of people are never going to have the super physiques of a body builder, model, etc. I think it is important that you learn to love you for you...and who you are. If you don't like your body, you have begun working to change it but DO NOT let your body define who you are. We are all beautiful in our own way and body shape and size has very little to do with that. WOOHOO, I am soooo excited for you and what you will become! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

You'll be surprised by how much you can actually eat when you choose the right food options!! Even with fruits, try to choose the ones with more water content that will you fill you up and keep you feeling fuller longer. Berries and yogurt are great choices!! Keep up the good work!

Do what you can do, and forget about the rest. Just so long as you're doing something! Our library has exercise DVDs, maybe yours does too. Chair exercises may be a good way to start. emoticon

I think the fact that I have been paying attention to what I eat makes me think I am eating way too much. I have been dancing in the house and trying to do a bit more than usual. I feel guilty if I eat anything. I have been uping my fruit intake ( have been for the past month or so). I have an issue with exercise as I have a left sided injury but I am moving (have been doing the soup can thing) more than I use to.

I guess one day at a time. Had berries, yougurt (low fat) and milk today.

change your mind and change your life.
Exercise is great but changing what you eat is even more important.
The healthier your choices, the less the crazy cravings.

Try Spark people exercise videos. They are challenging but doable. There are all kinds of ideas on this website as well relating to what you can do for alternative exercise. You just have to decide that you want this for yourself and then just take one day at a time. You can do this!!!! emoticon

You can remain negative about your situation or you can get up and do something about it! You live in the country, so do I. No gas to drive, me too. People drive to fast, walk where they don't drive. Find a trail, repeatedly walk around your house or up and down your driveway. Lift a soup can repeatedly or a rock or? As long as you are moving, you don't have time to feel sorry for yourself or to eat. Inevitably, we all have to eat so you will have to pay closer attention to serving size, buy the correct types of food-healthy fruits and veggies, read labels-crackers and chips have small serving sizes. When you truly decide that you are ready to adopt a new life-style and make true changes in your appearance, you will! emoticon emoticon emoticon

One step at a time. Remember you will take two steps backwards as well.
Keep track of your food on your food tracker. You can do this.

I feel like because the doctor told me I have to loose weight I want to eat and eat and eat. It sucks! I live out in the country, no gas to go anywhere and these roads are not fit to walk on (everyone drives by doing a million miles an hour) have tried dancing to the radio (guess every little bit helps?).

Just feel sad, hate to look at myself in the mirror!
