I have found that while making better choices is not always easy, it is ALWAYS EASIER when I am looking at the journey as a journey to get healthy rather than a weight loss journey. If I were to never lose a pound, BUT I improved my blood sugars, blood pressure, knee pain, shortness of breath, etc. I would be happier than I am now. Pain and illness can be great motivators. Your reasons are RIGHT ones for you and they are also right for me. Hang in there and together we will all get healthier than we were before.
