I have found that while making better choices is not always easy, it is ALWAYS EASIER when I am looking at the journey as a journey to get healthy rather than a weight loss journey. If I were to never lose a pound, BUT I improved my blood sugars, blood pressure, knee pain, shortness of breath, etc. I would be happier than I am now. Pain and illness can be great motivators. Your reasons are RIGHT ones for you and they are also right for me. Hang in there and together we will all get healthier than we were before.

Love your reasons for weight loss. I am there with you. I have 2 grandchildren who lost their mother and I want to be the best grandmother I can for them. I don't want them to miss a thing or to be held back because of my limitations. Life is for living not just getting by...I don't miss my heart palpitations, or shortness of breath or having to take a nap....We must continue on this Journey and fill it with JOY!!

There has been many many reasons why I wanted to lose weight. Look sexy for my husband, buy clothes that aren't Plus sizes, being able to move more, etc but the main reason that I have discovered is that I want to be healthy. All the other reasons will fall into place once I get my weight down and my muscles toned up. I have to make this journey for ME!!
No one can do it for me but they can encourage and motivate me which helps greatly. I will be healthy and live a longer life because I want to do it for the right reasons.
