"Always" is the key. I think everyone is different. My tummy absolutely only growls if I am both hungry and have been neglecting my hunger for a long time.

Agreed. It can growl directly after a meal.

I have definitely had that "full on stomach hungry" physical sensation at times when I know it's simply not possible for me to be physically hungry - I have eaten too recently.

So I wouldn't trust that as a hunger indicator.

Stomach growling is just typical digestion; your stomach and intestinal muscles contracting. It is not a sign of hunger or boredom.

Does a growling tummy always mean that you are hungry? or just cuz the tummy knows you're bored?
