It may help to know this.
Over the last three weeks I have been going to bed 1 hour earlier and I have found that not drinking after 8:30 PM helps. I have slept for longer and on one night got 8 hours. Mostly it is between 6 and 71/2 hours where before it was around 4 to 5.
I can't remember the last time I have slept through the whole night. I have suffered from insomnia since I have been 15 years old, I would just lay awake and stare at the ceiling for hours and it usually lasted for 4 days at a time. I no longer have that type of insomnia, but I have trouble staying asleep, usually wake up about 3 to 4 times a night, but I am able to go back to sleep after about 20 minutes.
Just curious if anyone ever sleeps through the night and if so, do you have anything that you do to make you sleep all night?
