When I was younger, we would all dress up. But as years have passed, it's gotten more and more casual. Perhaps it's time to change that.

I will not wear stretchy pants or Yoga pants on Thanksgiving, gives too much room to overindulge/overeat. I am going to wear my new jeans in the smaller size that I just got into.

Best wishes everyone!

no I don't do that. I usually get myself something special for Christmas to wear. Looking for something girly.........right up my alley.

Not really. It's just going to be immediate family and one guest. We'll probably wear stretchy pants and baggy tee-shirts. LMBO! Soooo sessy for the Thanksgiving Pictures.

My family doesn't really dress up for Thanksgiving, so I'll just wear something I have.

I do miss working for a larger company... always was an excuse to go out and buy a pretty dress to wear to a company holiday party. Now I work for a company of 2... me being one of them LOL

I had an old dress that wouldn't fit right after I had my baby. Now it fits so I'm looking forward to wearing that.

I'm on the "Starting" phase of losing my weight, and will try to find something old to wear because I hate to buy something that will not fit any longer in a few weeks!!

I'm afraid I'll be going for classic black and baggy trying to hide the folds again, but confident that I'll not overeat and will be svelte--by next Thanksgiving and rocking a new outfit then.

(svelte - definition of svelte by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus ...
Slender or graceful in figure or outline; slim. [French, from Italian svelto, from past participle of svellere, to stretch out.) emoticon

Now that I just reached my goal weight, I have purchased an entire new wardrobe. From suits and ties down to one pair of jeans. Blue jeans are just not comfortable at my new weight. Besides I cannot find a size 33 waist with a 29 inch inseam. I do not see spending money on alterations for jeans anyway. So I mostly wear slacks and sport shirts. Over the long run these will be more economical.

Has anyone lost some weight and is looking forward to wearing something special for Thanksgiving or a Holiday Party coming up?

I bought a new sparkly top, I usually need an extra large (I have a large chest) but I fit well in a large, and I am happy to get to wear it for Thanksgiving.

Best wishes everyone!
