I do Bar Method classes which are pretty close to Pure Barre, according to my friend who does Pure Barre. I love them. I am working up to 4/5 times per week, but I also add in 3 cardio sessions a week because I am over 55, and losing weight for me is very hard. I also have Hashimotos which is an autoimmune thyroid disorder which makes it very hard to lose weight.
How much weight/inches have people lost with this?

I just started taking Pure Barre classes. So far only been to 5 classes total but I love it! I think I might be addicted. I am wondering how long it took for you to see results? Should I also be doing more cardio?

I've been doing Pure Barre 4-5 times a week as part of my lifestyle change. I'm getting great results and really enjoy doing it. I'm wondering if anyone else out there does Pure Barre, or something similar, and if you do, do you do additional cardio workouts? I've only been making the time to do these classes, but feel maybe I should be alternating running, too. Although Pure Barre is primarily strength and not cardio, my heart rate is definitely up the whole class and I leave covered in sweat every time!
