I don't usually dance for exercise but I was at a friends house this weekend and we played JUST DANCE on the WII. It was fun and it was a workout... I was sweating and my arms were aching! BUT it was so fun because you can do it with friends and learn some good dance moves which is a plus for my rhythmically challenged self :)

Yes I do!!! I'm a big fan of Leslie Sansone, but I like my own music better. So I use a lot of her moves, add more intensity and, wow! I have a great time!

I do! It's a chance for me to get some exercise in and get my kids involved with me for some fun! I try to make it a nightly routine after dinner.

LOL!!!! I'm a dance major and have been dancing for 18 years.... I dance 3 hrs - 2 hrs every week day! I burn so many calories from it without even recognizing it as exercise.... I love to move! I recommend any kind of dancing for exercise...the time will fly by and it's therapeutic as can do zumb, hip hop(this is a great workout) jazzercize, salsa....even take a ballet or tap class! you name it.......let yourself go and move...I guarantee itll help your body and soul!

I would love to but unfortunately I can't seem to be able to move my body to do it! Think Kate Gosselin on DWTS, kinda scary. I'm trying to with the Wii though. I love the look of Zumba so I may attempt that in the safety of my home with nobody around. ;o)

Absolutely! SO MUCH FUN, and definitely a change up from the regular workouts. I've heard that Zumba is a lot of fun too ... can't wait to try it!

We have Just Dance for the Wii and it is so much fun. It's a great cardio workout and it works your arms too because there's a lot of arm movements. I count it as dancing: disco, ballroom... on the cardio tracker

I use exercise videos that are a fusion of yoga, pilates and ballet-inspired moves. I love it. I even have a ballet workout using ballet moves to tone the body.

DH and I took ballrooms lessons and try to dance as often as possible. Movement is good and the fun we have is better!

There's a class at my gym called Group Groove & it's dance aerobics to stuff like Lady Gaga, Thriller by Michael Jackson, Britney Spears. I love it! But the class is too early in the evening for me to make it from work. I get there when I can. I also have taken Zumba & that is a great time and a great workout as well!

Yep. I love ballet, swing, salsa, bollywood, and aerobic dance. It's just easier to move to music. emoticon

I am glad to read that others like to dance around. Music gets me going everyday. As a young person I was very shy but on the dance floor that changed. Now I am older (much older) and I am not so shy and I just let it go! emoticon

Music is such a huge part of my day, everyday. It gets me going in the morning, sometimes puts me to sleep at night..I love to just pop on some tunes and bee bop around or do my at home exercises to it. I would love to take classes someday...

My husband and I met at a dance school.It's one of my favorite exercises of all, we still take a ballroom dancing lesson one night a week. It's so much fun it doesn't even feel like exercise. emoticon

Yes!! I've been taking zumba and belly dancing classes and they are both so much fun! Zumba is more upbeat and I'm sure I burn more calories doing it, but I really enjoy the sensuality and the isolation belly dancing gives also helps that I love wearing the coin skirt :)

Last week I went to a zumba class with 2 of my friends. What fun! We spent more time laughing trying to keep up! I think everyone should try it at least once.

Yes, I do, when I watch my grand daughter when her mommy is at school we do the cowboy jazzersize dancing. I use all the line dancing moves I have learned over the years and put on my Windows media player and we dance for 30 to 45 minutes. It is so much fun and it helps to make her tired for bed. :)

Every weekend I pop in the iPod and dance my way through cleaning. I've always threw dancing in here and there as part of my exercise routine.

I tried Zumba! After about 45 minutes of the 1 hour class, I am exhausted! I love to dance, just need to take breaks! If I did this 2 times a week, I would really lose weight.

i bought the dancing for the stars latin dance work out dvd, teaches you the mambo, cha cha, somba, merenge and one other dance. I have only done it once but I think it will be great once i get the moves down. it's a little hard to follow having never danced before and being really clumsy.

I love dancing for exercise. If I danced more often I would lose more weight faster.

You have fun and dance away at your favorite music and hanging out with friends is happy and uplifting.

I really like to hear the music and let myself go..

Let go of all those stresses and feelings and have lots of fun!

I take a hip hop class at the gym thursday nights and it is incredible! I am a terrible dance but I LOVE IT! Wish it was offered 2 nights a week.

I'm a homeschool mom, so the television doesn't come on - only music. We love to dance and it feels good as well as being a lot of fun! The gravy to the mashed potatos is that you lose weight by burning calories! emoticon

Dancing is my favorite way to get moving. Usually. if I wake up sluggish I just put on the usic and it gets me going! emoticon
