I still have quite a few skinny clothes and little by little I am able to wear more of them.

A few years ago, after I had been at my goal weight for almost a year, I finally went through my closet and dressers to weed out the clothes that were too big for me. To my surprise, I found a lot of smaller clothes that I had forgotten about; I tried them on and was pleased to find that they actually fit. It was kind of like shopping in my own closet. I only kept the things that were still in style, and looked good on me; the rest, I donated along with all of the too large clothes.

I have two shirts that I bought then quickly outgrew. I'm almost back into them.

I was never "skinny" as an adult and it has been a few decades since I was a small as I am now. However, I do still have some old clothes that I am wearing now. I had kept some of my favorite things and am happy I did. It has saved me lots of money.
I tend to buy a lot of classic styles, so the styling is just as practical today as it was 25 years ago when I bought the stuff.
I only wish I had kept more stuff to save even more money.

I am still keeping my fave mini skirt with a quirky pattern and my few of my fave jeans. I did give some nice ones to charity. I'm regretting it now, but I don't think I will ever be able to fit into them again! Geez! Was I EVER that small!?
yes , I never gave up... but I buy classic styles which helped my decision to keep them

I have a few beautiful and expensive dresses I kept and I am now just start to fit into them again! I also have some lovely outfits that no longer fit, I am throwing away the jeans, shirts etc. but there are a few pieces I will have altered when I have finished with my weight loss journey. The big test is keeping the weight off forever!

lol...I am really bad at throwing clothes out - so I've got a lot of my old jeans and shorts ready to go.
This spring, however, I am making a huge effort to get rid of all of my "big" clothes.
I am going to be buying a lot of new clothes, though. My gf and I are big thrift store aficionados, so I will be able to buy a lot, without breaking the bank ;)

Are you going to wear them, or do you want a fresh start?
I'm hoping to land at a size 14 when I'm at goal and I only have two new pieces of clothing in that size. I bought them as incentives and because they were too nice to pass up. Other than that, I want a nice fresh start and I'm putting money into savings to get there.
I have some things in the sizes between here and there. Those I'll recycle since they're classics (and donate when I'm done if they're in good condition by then).
But for the goal celebration, it's a brand new world.
