I've never had a Scottish Terrier, but I do have a Yorkshire Terrier and I just love him! Terriers are great dogs!

I don't but yours is a cutie.

I have a Rat Terrier Mandie, a Beagle Miley (not after Miley C. Yuck) and a Japanese Chin Olivia. And they are the loves of my life. All three are rescue dogs.

Thanks so much for your input.

I had to smile about the "scottie" shortbread cookies. I actually got them as a gift several years ago for Christmas. They came packaged in a tin that looked like a scottie - cute!

I think terriers all have certain traits that are similar and unique to the terrier breed. Most scotties pin their affections on household family members which my first scottie did but this one loves everything and everybody. Scotties are very determined and very territorial in nature. They are alert and very sensitive to reprimands - not easily trainable as they want their way. They are very intelligent and think they are smarter than their humans.

I absolutely love a Scottish Terrier - that face with those eyebrows and that beard are just to precious.🐾🐾

I don't have a Scotty, but I have a Cairn Terrier (think Toto from the Wizard of Oz) and have her hair cut like a Scotty. People think she's a tiny Scottish Terrier.

Pretty dog!

My family has always had Westies. They are so smart and it is amazing how different each one is in terms of personality.

I wish I could post photos in the thread!

I have an eleven year old silver brindle Scottish Terrier named "Sophie". She is my second scottie and I got her after my fifteen year old "Molly" passed away.

I would love for other scottie owners/lovers to come together and share precious memories and stories of these most intriguing and intelligent dogs.

Please join me and let's chat about our beloved furry family members.🐾🐾
