Fresh is good, as long as I buy quality and eat quickly; some fruits should be eaten fresh-only, like bananas and oranges. Canned is good, depending on type; for example, peaches out of season, and my fave, pineapple year-round. However, Frozen fruit is my usual "Go To"; quality is preserved when frozen, and it won't go bad for a long time.

usually fresh, some home frozen (berries, etc), and its been awhile since I did home canned! But oh, I loved those canned cherries come about November!!

Fresh or frozen. Canned evokes memories of the nasty sugary stuff they served us at school. And, I find that even the light syrup ones are too sweet for me.

Fresh fruits, 100%! I almost never eat canned fruits but the few times I have, I have chosen fruits in their own juice (no sugar added). We also use frozen fruits a lot, but in this case I count them as fresh or near fresh.

CORTNEY I AM WITH YOU. I LOVE CANNED PEACHES WITH COTTAGE CHEESE. IN FACT ITS MY FAVORITE REALLY. BUT WE HAVE FARMERS MARKET OPEN ALL YR LONG AND SO I DO LOTS OF THE FRESH THINGS ALL THE TIME TOO.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. I START OUT WITH THE FRESH, THEN I HAVE FROZEN MIX BERRIES IN A BAG IN THE FREEZER FOR LIKE SMOOTHIES OR JUST TO EAT OFF OF AND THEN I KEEP CANNED PEACHES IN THE FRIDGE CAUSE I LIKE THOSE WITH COTTAGE CHEESE. A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING.

Fresh or nothing for me. I used to love canned but it's too sweet for me now.
Fresh fruit without a doubt! I do like canned peaches and cottage cheese too, but it's too high in calories to justify... so fresh it is!

The only canned fruit I eat are mandarin oranges. I prefer fresh and frozen fruit. I recently discovered frozen sliced peaches at my local grocery- I stock up when they're on sale because they are a wonderful treat.

It depends on what I am eating which I prefer. I adore cottage cheese with canned peaches, but if i am going to eat fruit alone, I like fresh.
Definitely fresh. A lot of canned fruit automatically has sugars added.
I do make home-canned applesauce (no added sweeteners), and plan to home can pear slices in pear season this year (with absolutely minimal sugar added to keep an acceptable level of "crunch").
Things like raspberries I only eat in season -- when they are in season in my back yard. (They usually don't make it into the house...)
I do like the mandarin orange slices they serve sometimes at work, even though those are undoubtably canned.

Yep, there I am, swimming through the desert sands. Might just be a mirage, after all. But this is life, and we learn best about it if we explore it, and take our chances. A life unexplored, after all, is one of the saddest things out there.

I prefer fresh. I always try and keep a couple of cans of pineapple in case I run out of fresh fruit and don't want to drive to the market just for a piece of fruit I'm craving. I discovered putting the entire can of cut pineapple with it's juices (all natural nothing added) in the blender and it makes a delicious smoothie all by itself.
Fresh; I haven't eaten canned in years. I am lucky that I live a 5 minute walk from a fruit and vegetable shop, so I have easy access to cheap, high quality fruit. I have a few cans of fruit in the pantry, but I'd rather eat the fresh stuff!

I prefer fresh fruit but have canned in my pantry for emergencies. I don't often run out of fresh because I have my own trees.

Fresh, for sure. I virtually never buy canned. I have a can of pineapple and mandarin oranges in my pantry that have been in there for months. I can't see much use for them. I think mandarin oranges are the only canned fruit I like (to add to salads). I just buy a whole pineapple, freeze most of it and dethaw it as I need it. I do the same with mangos because I never end up eating the whole pineapple or mango before they go off. All other fruit is fresh and unfrozen.
"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.
